I've lived in Austin my whole life, except for one year in Seattle after college. I moved home because I really missed the culture of Texas-friendly. I'm single again and my parents are 90...when they are gone, I will feel like I have the option to get out of this hot, crowded city and oppressive, conservative state. I'm allowing myself to start daydreaming now and find intentional community very appealing. Maybe in that setting the culture will be more open and connecting?
