I'm a 75 year old widow who has lived on an island in the Pacific Northwest for 50 years. My husband died in 2023. We were married for 43 yrs. and I knew him for 47 years. My daughter and 2 grandchildren live in another state. I currently live in an apartment. I love the island, but I find that I don't have the social support that I need and want and once had. I'd like my own place or unit but in a community. I'm healthy, love tai chi, reading, hiking and traveling. I have a 5 yr. old Aussiedoodle. I'm a liberal, an introvert and can be pretty cerebral I.e. I love theories and learning new things.
