We're a family with two young kids (4 years and 6 months) who are doing well financially but are done supporting the Machine. We currently live in TX, but I have lived in Seattle on 5 different occasions, being repeatedly drawn in by the magnificent Tahoma. The PNW is my home, and I want to spend my life protecting her however I can.

Separate houses on shared land. We are not ready to be entirely free from the system, so being close to "civilization" is still important to us. We're nominally Buddhist, with committed practices. Finding others who have similar commitments (whatever the tradition) is important to us.
